New Haven Timberframe Home Boasts Craft and Coziness

This project was imagined as a small hybrid timberframe home over a workshop. After a few years of serving as a workspace, the woodshop was moved off-site, and the lower level was absorbed into the home. In its final iteration, this super-insulated, geothermal-heated timberframe home is a showcase of meticulous details, quality, and beautiful cabinetry by The Woodworks.

Thoughtful Nooks and Crannies in This Timberframe Home

Throughout the timberframe home, you’ll find crafted bookcases and storage units, custom closets, and a well-designed cook’s kitchen. The entry floor was featured in Fine Homebuilding and the master bathroom, unique staircases, and lower level study underscore the skills of the builder-owner – the President of Silver Maple, Sean Flynn.
